Lovely first visit here. Great for walks and places to sit or to have a picnic. Cafe open for take away and toilets are open. Lots of open places. Staff on site were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful area to walk around, well maintained, clean and tidy. Got parked no problem, made a donation into the box and off we went for a gentle stroll around the reserve. It's not massive but you can spend some time here in a peaceful and tranquil environment. There are several bird watching hides you come across, just be mindful if they are in use by others. A circular route with well marked pathways that lead you to the river wear and then back round to the \visitors centre\ where you will find a shop selling refreshments, a picnic area, toilets and the car park. The day we visited the lady working in the shop was extremely helpful and polite and passed in a list of other places to walk with the pooch. Will definately visit again.

Well kept nature reserve. Fair size car park, toilets available, a small shop for takeout food and hot drinks. Lovely paths to explore.

Fabulous. Easy walking on flat gravel paths. Just ideal for bird watching. Love it. Xx
