Selection of products and value for money 8/10. Customer service 3/10. If you are an experienced archer and know EXACTLY what you need these guys are likely to stock it. If you are new to the sport or are in any way unsure of your requirements steer clear of Merlin and visit your local Pro shop. Issue has since been resolved. Customer Service Good

I placed an order with Merlin on 29 November. It is currently 7 January and I still don't have my order. I had no contact from them before Christmas about any delay to my order. When I contacted them, they passed the buck on to their supplier offered to send in my incomplete order. They still haven't sent it. I asked for compensation and I have received 7.99 I paid for postage. Pathetic considering I spent over 1300 and this could have been a Christmas present. Very poor customer service. I was warned by people at my club they were poor, unfortunately they lived up to the bad reputation.

Visited this morning to get first recurve set up. Alan was extremely helpful and even opened up slightly early for me! His advice was brilliant and he was balanced in his recommendations. I spent an informative 2hrs in the shop being kitted out, landing in my budget. It was great to be able to shoot in shop to make sure everything was fine. Looking forward to many hours of enjoyment ahead. Merlin, Bishop Auckland will definitely see further custom from me in years to come!

Just a beginner and wasn't looking to purchase anything big right now, but I will definitely be back when I come to buy my first bow. Especially dealing with Rachel who was lovely to speak with and had all the patience in the world. Well worth a visit weather your in the area or gave to travel like I did.
