We popped in for a quick drink as we were planning to eat there tomorrow night. Greeted with .....a lady that had zero interest with serving us. Two customers were in the restaurant and and she was trying see if there was a table for us. ???????? ( the restaurant was empty 5pm Thursdy). We sad down my friend ordered a Pinot Grigio to be told. \ we have none as we have not had our delivery\. He then asked \What wines have you got?\ Then she shoved a menu under my nose and stood over the table. We asked her for a few minutes to look at the menu to browse as she didn't give us the time to look at the menu. To which we decided to take our custom elsewhere, where we would feel more welcome. In these current situations where covid is having a huge impact on business, staff and management team should be ensuring the basic level of customer service should be in place. Shocking service we will now be eating elsewhere tomorrow night and your business has lost 150.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly. Just had drinks and shared a soup as we were going for a walk. Soup was great though, served with a nice basket of bread and butter. Great music selection as well. Would definitely eat here when we come back to Ilkley.
Wonderful restaurant; excellent service from the attentive staff and the food was delicious, cooked to perfection and accompanying wine spot on. Prices very reasonable, especially if you dine before 6pm. Facilities tasteful and very clean. Highly recommend.
