I and my wife visited this bistro two days ago, I had visited the old cafe years ago and thought i would of liked a full English breakfast. It was roughly 2pm when my wife and I arrived and I thought it would be too late for a breakfast. To my surprise i of order what I wanted and my wife had ordered her meal. The young server could not of been more helpful and attentive and so friendly, nothing was a trouble for her and both my wife and I commented to each other of this. My breakfast was cooked to perfection, so tasty and a a good hearty meal, my wife had steak pie and chips with peas. Everything was so good and to finish my wife ordered a scone with clotted cream, we shared this as it was so large and what another surprise it was stunning the taste was beautiful. I will visit this bistro again and soon, if you are reading this please treat yourself to a good, healthy and well cooked meal and not as expensive as you might think. Thank you to the chef and the young lady who served us, you made our day, truly !!

Arrived expecting a truck stop, very surprised made clear we were vegan and veggie and as all food is cooked fresh not a problem as it was lunch time we had vegan sausage beans and crinkle cut chips and my girlfriend had a poached egg 10/10 made to feel welcome will visit again .

Called in today with my daughter for lunch. Such a bright clean and welcoming place, the server was so lovely and friendly. It was hard to decide what to chose as everything sounded gorgeous, we both went for the Blacksmiths burger with bacon emmental and mexican spicy cheese, cajun onion rings homemade chips and slaw. It was the nicest burger ive had in along time! The portions are extremely plentiful and delicious We will definitely be going again!!!
