Don’t do what I have just done - load the car with recycling and drive to Blandford Recycling Centre - it is closed until 10 October! My criticism of Dorset Council is that, when you Google Blandford Recycling Centre it is not obvious on any of the pages that this is the case - in fact some tell you that it is open now! If you open some of the pages it is the second item down - and not obvious in any of the headlines.
Well-organised with helpful, friendly staff.
Bit busy but to be expected
Close to blandford town centre and easy to get to. Open at good times with helpful staff. Can get rid of almost anything here and I've only had to pay for rubble. They have a re-use section which often has useful bits and pieces. Little burger van just up the road (not open sunday or owned by them but useful)
