Week three of being a Sing United member and I LOVE IT! It has ticked so many boxes- back to singing which simply lifts your soul, meeting some really friendly new people, spending two hours each week learning something new, having songs at my finger tips throughout the week on my phone so I can practice, being guided through the music by such a talented pro (& genuinely lovely guy) in Mark with the added bonus of being given really interesting information about each song we are learning on the Sing United website... need I say more?

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Sing United and feel privileged to have been part of the performance, ‘Lest We Forget’ at Whitley Bay Playhouse. The 150 strong choir is managed so well in every way by Mark and Angela. Mark is an extremely talented musician and teacher and I found his approach to rehearsals very refreshing, being professional yet full of good humour and sensitivity towards everyone. I cannot express enough the friendliness of everyone and how welcome I was made to feel as a newbie! Sad not to be taking part in the next two shows due to previously made travelling plans but I hope to be back again in the future.

Some of the members of Sing United performed at Josephine Butler Primary School yesterday. The children (and staff) were mesmerised by their singing. Absolutely fantastic x

I was lucky enough to grab a couple of tickets for the Power to the People concert at The Peoples Theatre last night before it sold out. I knew it would be good but I was blown away! Powerful alright! Looked and sounded amazing. I hear they have done some Community Fundraising for The Peoples Kitchen in Newcastle and the POWER of the SING UNITED PEOPLE blew all expectations out of the water and incredibly have raised several Thousand Pounds for this wonderful local charity. You should all be extremely proud of yourselves. You all looked like you had the best time too! Brilliant!
