Stayed in the Otterbridge cottage 3rd to 10th Aug 2019. Superb comfortable cottage and grounds. Our cottage had ALL the essentials for a home from home, furniture and soft furnishings are top quality with everything at hand, ie log burner, dishwasher, extractor fan, laundry room, DAB radio, smart TV. Penrose Burden Cottages is in a rural spot with a car being essential for getting about. If total relaxation is what your after, this place is for you. If you require a short walk to a shop and pub, then maybe not. The bedroom fittings were again superb, with quality fixtures and fittings being used down to USB charging sockets and flat screen TV in both bedrooms. Plenty of hot water on demand with the rain shower being powerful and large. Our only criticism of these superb cottages, was only one bath and hand towel per person for the stay, we used the laundry room to wash the towels mid week.

Love this place as the people that own them Jane and Ian are so lovely. The cottages are luxury they are home from home and more in a peaceful part of Cornwall and lovely views. Will always go back.
Three nights into our weeks holiday and wow. The cottage, we are staying in Jingles, is brilliant. There is plenty of room for us and the mutt but it still feels cosy and welcoming. The interior is really well done and there is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Jane and Ian have done a stunning job of creating the perfect place to holiday and the view is just wonderful. You have to come see for yourself.
Beautifully appointed cottage and dogs are made welcome. Friendly owners. Would recommend.
