Would honest to god never shop with asda in general again due to company pay policies and refusal of equal opportunity pay. I've avoided this store for 3 years due to being overcharged for a product and head office refusing to refund 1.29 unless I paid 4.50 for the bus back to the store. However due to the recent pandemic I was unable to get a home delivery from my usual supplier tescos. I managed to get a slot booked with asda and spent 112 on food items. There were 7 substitutions in my bag, all of which were in stock when I ordered. Usually, with tescos, if the item is put of stock you are refunded or merchandise is given to the value of what you originally paid. However instead I was substituted items which were not on Offer and actually cost me more than I had originally budgeted for. Customer service is shocking for an American franchise and I will never stop foot in Any asda store again.
