There are places where cars go, and the clever use of tarmac helps avoid muddy wheels. Very clever design. The close placement of a litter bin is also a masterstroke that pushes this from 4 stars up to 5.

This is a large public park with play areas, country walks and walled gardens. There are also bowling greens and tennis courts. Overall it is well kept and tidy. Excellent space for kids and dog walking.

Lot's of open space, the fields get a bit boggy when wet. The wardens and groundsmen are very friendly and helpful. There are several children's play areas with modern equipment

I have loved this park since I was young as have my Children and Grandchildren .sadly no butterfly house now but has now got the hive great for younger children .
