Went to pick a parcel up on Friday morning. Really pleasant bloke behind the counter., efficient service. I was surprised as lots of negative reviews but no comments from royal mail as to why the service gets so many negative views. Would be interesting to know what they think as an employer.

I had missed a parcel previous day, normally I'd have it re delivered but on this occasion wasn't an option as was something needed personally for a certain date, anyway checked website prior to leaving to collect tried to ring a few times 1st no answer 2nd busy, stated on website change to hours due to covid which is fine as stated open 8am till 1.30pm which wasn't a problem for me. Got to the sorting office around 10.40am and was shut!!!! Saying on door was open 8am till 10am looked for tommorow says open 8am till 12noon on website says shut!!! I think you should up date your website propley to be providing customer's with the correct information luckily I drive but for people who don't there's around a good 15/20mins walk from the bus route!

Claiming to have delivered parcels which have not been delivered. Not able to investigate further as no card through door when they claim to have been unable to deliver, even though everyone was at home due to lockdown. Terrible service.

Both Bolton West and Bolton North Delivery Offices provide pathetic levels of service, and the abysmal service doesn't stop there. Royal Mail customer services says that it will take 10 business days to reply to a complaint. In the meantime the incompetent staff at Bolton West Delivery Office and Bolton North Delivery Office play pass the parcel with my package. So far the missort count between them is up to five times. The worst thing is that Royal Mail make it so difficult to complain and don't seem to care in the slightest that there service would have to improve to be described as appalling.
