Had a bad week thinking i was losing my eye sight after an accident at work and after a visit to hospital I was told to rest my eyes then visit an optician for a sight test, I usually use specsavers but I have had a few bad experiences with prescription glasses made to the wrong prescription in the past and wanted to try another opticians instead, on entering the store on linthorpe road in Middlesbrough I was greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome and put at ease about my eye problem, I was worrying about losing part of my sight and not being able to drive again, I was seen by consultant A Pemberton who put my mind at ease, he was very down to earth, he recommended a certain type of eye drops to reduce swelling in my swollen eye which worked brilliantly within a few hours, he also pointed out that the glasses I was wearing did not coincide with the prescription I had brought with me so yet again specsavers had messed up my prescription from the previous year. Credit when it’s due, I now know where I will be going for my future eye tests glasses and contact lenses
