The whole process from start to finish was seamless. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in respect of picking new frames. The turn around time was excellent. Can't praise Mr Wilkins and the team enough - will definitely recommend and be a return customer myself in the future

Myself, my Husband, Parents and children all use this friendly, convenient branch. All of the staff are friendly and helpful (especially with my 6 yr old Daughter who needed eye drops)! Would recommend!
I purchased some Levi glasses from here and my first pair broke within a week of me getting them. So I took them back in the guy was very defensive in regards to the quality of the glasses practically telling me it was my fault that they had broke? even tho I have been wearing glasses for years... he was just rude. He finally agreed to get them sorted for me. A new pair arrived I used them for another few months and same thing happened again so I went to this store at 5.20 on a Saturday baring in mind I work 6 days a week and have a 3 month old. I walked in and there were all clearly walking out the door even tho open hours is till 5.30? when i got in same again the lady was very defensive rather than sorry for my inconvenience i explained i had had ray bans for the last 4 years and never had a issue she then said oh yeah we never have problems with ray bans. but not reassuring me about the product i have bought from them? staff are rude and should be trained in customer service or replaced. again i would like to add that the customer service by the staff is poor they act like children when u ask for help being awkward.
I arrived 12 minutes late for an eye test. In the meantime the optician had spoken to my daughter on the home phone. She informed me later that in her opinion he was abrupt and rude with her. The optician told me through the shop assistant that he would not see me and I would have to rebook. I am starting a new job 3 days after writing this review and will be unable to re book until i have finished training 13 weeks later. There was no empathy for this and they refused to show me some leeway. I wonder what he did for the 45 minutes that were still assigned to my appointment. I just expected better customer care from a company like Boots. Perhaps Boots would like to comment or respond. I am now booked in today with a local optician and will never consider using Boots again for any of my family.
Great professional service, excellent choice of frames and products to protect my lenses. Good price, I will definitely use again.
As I am a diabetic I have to have my annual eye test I have previously been tested at Hyde so I gave Glossop a try Tim the optician was very thougher put me at ease The staff are all friendly and kind a lovely experience 5stars
Excellent customer service with a great choice of glasses. Would highly recommend to everyone.
I've had two pair of glasses now and experienced excellent customer care on both occasions, to go with the high standard of the glasses I purchased. I'll be going back again when the time comes.
