Delightful park that is visited by many, ideal for wheelchair users too. Lots of picnic benches scattered around. Beautiful fountain to throw pennies in and make a wish. Cute little ice cream hut with toilets. Tennis courts that are well looked after. Fantastic show of flowers and beautiful large trees. Little play area for very young ones which also has a water feature but not on at the moment due to covid but when it is on it is very much enjoyed by children. There is an outdoor gym equipment which is used well. Outdoor table tennis table . Gorgeous band stand that is beautifully painted along with a fancy tall clock. There is plenty to see and do, lots of seats scattered around, very easily spend all day in the park by all ages. Great place for roller skating, scooter etc for the kids. Take along a great picnic and join in the wonderful friendly atmosphere. There is often events like, local food event, cider festival, music events, bands, something for everyone.

Gardens always beautifully kept by the gardeners. Lovely children's area. Now complemented by a nice kiosk that does not spoil the area. Very relaxing.

Calm and peaceful place to sit and watch the world go by. Beautifully maintained gardens with lovely bandstand in the centre that has benches around to sit on to take in any entertainment when it starts again.
