We love Borrow my Doggy and it has provided so much joy since September when we signed up. Initially we didn’t hear back from any owners, but I emailed borrow my doggy directly and they helped us find 3 active users, who I then heard back from straight away! We have a twice weekly commitment to walk the wonderful Darcy who is an utter joy. We have also walked another couple of dogs on a more informal basis as and when required. Thank you borrow my doggy for being amazing and helping fill the dog sized gap in our lives!

I recently joined the premium membership as a volunteer dog walker. Took about 4 weeks to find a suitable match however it was worth the wait as I’ve been walking Marnie & Ted 3 times a week for the last 4 weeks and they are an absolute pleasure. Fabulous app however please don’t waste your time setting up a profile if you don’t intend to pay the premium membership as you a dog owner or walker. You may not be able to respond or see messages. Thank you borrow my doggy.com for an amazing app.

Don't waste your money! I joined this in the hope of my son being able to meet and walk some dogs (he loves animals). Not a single person responded back to us, and I've never been contacted by anyone either. Save your money and put a shout out on social media instead, someone will know someone with a dog. Absolute waste of time, effort and money.

What a joy to have found this site. Check the site first and make sure there are enough dogs near you that are premium members. This means you can contact the owner. I found 1/2 dozen dogs near me within 1 mile radius. I joined, wrote a bio and messaged 2 initially. Within 48 hours, I was walking the first dog. The second owner did not respond, which is their prerogative. There could be a multitude of reasons why people don't and it shouldn't be taken personally. But after a few weeks, the first dog moved away for unforeseen circumstances. So I went back on the site and found another one almost as easily and was walking this one the next day. This is a brilliant concept and even in Covid time, there are plenty of dogs out there with owners that can't always give them the exercise they need. It's a great way to test your own skills with a pet before getting one as well. A dog requires commitment and walks in all weather. Can you apply the command consistently and get him to respond to you? If you can't do both of these, then getting your own dog is probably not the best idea. For us (who can't have any pet in our flat) it's an absolute pleasure to be able to borrow someone else's pet and get so much of the benefits! Congrats to the creators and happy dog walking to every one else :-)

This is such a brilliant idea. I've looked for so long wanting to join and finally had the chance this year and now have a lovely dog to walk and spend time with, along with a wonderful owner. Can't fault it. This site makes everything so easy
