Nice place to go, bit shabby, you have to park in the back and go to the front. Hire skates for the entire session, then hire snowman/penguin PER HOUR. Family friendly everyone is having a good time, no one cares how the place looks so long as the ice is worth skating on, which definitely is! Very large area for loads of families with plenty of space. Make sure to check the schedule before you come in plus it gets busy on weekends especially if you need a snowman/penguin. Have a cafe for all sort of warm drinks. Baby change and accessibility toilet available. Again, it's a bit tattered, this place but, if you are looking for an ice rink to SKATE, then you'll have a great time! Cheaper than \ice planet\ (for obvious reasons!)

Watched 16 learner hockey class , well taught and fun to watch and the hour went by very quickly , they all seemed to thoroughly enjoy it ....great idea to teach stuff like this no matter what age you are and there was a good mix of ages and abilities .

Ice was a little cut up but good fun at good prices.

Great fun! Reasonable prices and friendly staff. We went with our children who had never skated before and at first were terrified. After just half an hour and the hire of a penguin they were semi confident in skating around with big smiles on their faces. We will be back! Just round the corner is the science and media museum too, so when your skate session is finished you can carry on the day in there, entry is free!
