I went for my Test today and passed (4th) time, (1st) time at Thornbury test centre and I've been told by others that it's a very difficult test centre to pass at. I fully disagree. The Examiner I had were Paul at Thornbury test centre. He were very polite and well spoken. He made me feel comfortable and at ease when driving. I actually felt less nervous this time around. A big thank you to Paul and my instructor (Top gear) for everything....

As a driving instructor who uses this test centre, I can honestly say that, the examiners and the centre itself, are top notch. If you are a learner you will be given every chance to show your driving skills and will be treated with polite professionalism. Parking is an issue however and it is advised that candidates taking a test should not enter the car park until 5 to10 minutes before your appointment, as candidates from the previous test may be pulling in.
