Absolutely fantastic! Ordered the 'Viola at Home' kit for a birthday. Picking up the meal was safe, with a designated slot to pick up the boxes, the waitress managed to provide a smiley service in our brief window together. The food itself was delicious, you're given each component of the meal in a box with instructions that only needs minor prep, which I think is a preferred method for lockdown. I'd like to eat in once things are open and safe!
Just okay - full breakfast for three each served with something incomplete,, no sausage, no beans, wafer-thin black pudding like a crisp, cutlery, sugar - all rectified but did we really have to ask? Chef fashionable hard toasted soda bread , alternative would have been nice. On the plus side, the sausages were very good, as was the quality of the eggs! The ambiance was good, attention to detail would have achieved 5*’s.
Just got home feeling extremely satisfied with our Sunday lunch. Four different starters, mains and desserts were all excellent in their own way. Staff friendly and efficient, and all felt Covid-secure throughout. You would not know this was a 'chain' restaurant, it is that good, the only giveaway being the Sunday pricing which felt VERY reasonable for Beaconsfield in 2020. Thank you, we'll be back soon!
