This is my preferred entrance to South Weald. The pond itself is very underwhelming (often entirely absent) but affords a good access point to the less crowded parts of the park.

Very enjoyable place for a walk
Magnificent place to walk especially during summer evening sunsets. Car park charges are disappointing and car park closes at 21:30
