My daughter has had fantastic, professional care from an early age - Steven identified she needed glasses at 5. I feel very confident that they are taking excellent care of her eyesight. In fact she loves going! They have an excellent range of children's glasses. My husband also has glasses and contact lenses and has fast, effective service when he needs new contacts. He recently had new glasses and they had a very good range to choose from, and gave very helpful advice when it came to choosing a style that suited him. Each time new glasses are ordered they come quickly and are fitted with care and professionalism.

I have been needing to see opticians since I was 5 . I have been wearing complex prescription glasses since this time. I have always found opticians to provide a basic service . However at I have been seeing both Steven and James for my routine eye care for over 3 years. They both have given me the time I need rather than a quick rush job . A very detailed examination and explanation of what's going on. They give reccommendations and choices. They have the retinal scanner machine which allows further investigation of the retina. I have been to lots of opticians in the past but the standard of care and empathy remains unmatched which is why I am happy to travel from almost an hour away to visit here.
As an art professional my eyesight is extremely important to me and having visited Steven Evenett's practice I was very impressed by Steven himself and all of his staff. The eye test was very thorough, using the latest technology, and I came away with some fabulous frames and lenses that were chosen particularly for my specific needs. The whole experience was very pleasant and put me at ease, I will definitely be using their services in the future.
Evenett optometry are the absolute best in town. They go above & beyond to ensure that you have the best care possible . My son is only 7years old & has a very rare eye condition that has resulted in having both of his lenses removed. It was Steve Evenetts superb skills as an optometrist that enabled us to detect the problem early. My son has been so well cared for by Telford hospital & by Birmingham children's but knowing we have had full care & support which is continued from Steve & all his team just makes the world of difference. We as a family will be forever grateful. My son has his eyes back & the future is looking bright. Thank you never seems enough.
I suddenly developed a lot of floaters in my right eye. I visited Evenett Optometry and they couldn't have been more helpful or professional. Although they had clients booked in they fitted me in around them and diagnosed the problem (which was a torn retina), they booked me an appointment at Shrewsbury eye clinic and I had laser surgery on my eye which is now on the mend. Thank you once again.
