Boiler went wrong on Sunday 30th December, called out of hours and they called out Liberty Gas, engineer came out after hour and a half and had no idea of what he was doing and told me to try the boiler in the morning, tried boiler in morning and the LCD display worked but boiler would not ignite, called out of hours emergency team and told them that the boiler would not ignite and they called Liberty Gas Liberty Gas would not attend, got Paul Hartshorne involved and still got nowhere, so we have no heat or hot water, Paul Hartshorne has not bothered to contact us to update us neither have Liberty Gas and I am now seeking legal action as STaR Housing are in breach of their own contract where they state that they will ensure tenants have a property of liveable standards, no heating, or hot water since 30th December and still no heating or hot water as of 1 January is a clear breach, I understand about it being New Year but the call was placed before New Years Eve. My fiancee has Fibromyalgia, Bronchiectesis, Spinal Nerve damage and is a chronic asthmatic and is already struggling to breath even with the use of steroid and preventer inhalers, I have a heart condition and Osteoarthritis so living in a cold house is not good for either of us. If any of us become ill through this I will seek legal redress.
