A lovely setting with non stop action on the Alder pool, the day lake, for the more serious among us the specimen or specialist lake serves as a tranquil uncrowded lake for your full day or sessions of over 24 hours. The owners are friendly and keen to keep the original aesthetic whilst breathing a breath of fresh air into dated facilities. The owners are friendly and helpful and the contactless payment is always a bonus!

We glamped in a wooden pod on Alder lake. Great pod clean and cosy. The fishing was great as well, we all fished the alder pool all day with great results. Plenty of fish carp, tench and bream with our biggest carp weighing in at 7lb. Would definitely recommend for camping, glamping and fishing.
Great fishery, very clean and tidy with good facilities. Nice to have proper shower and toilet blocks and a small shop for snacks and tackle. The fishing was good too - it was fishing slow when I was down there but still managed to catch one. Swims are large and wood chipped. Would return.
Although we only stopped en-route home for 2 nights we liked how friendly Adam and Kirsty were and how relaxed and peaceful it felt. Its a small site tucked behind a little village, not far from Hinckley Point (fascinating to see big carl- the largest crane in the world) in the distance. The specimen fishing lake is well thought out with each leg having a defined swim area and details on the website as to the features. We walked around the other lake which was also lovely, although quite busy at the time of our visit. There are simple but very clean ammenities (showers and toilets) but that's what we like. We have a campervan but would probably enjoy the huts or yurts too, and will return next year with family. Sadly didn't have time to enjoy a fire pit (available to rent) or go to the catfish lake but I'm sure it's just a fabulous.

Amazing day at Burton Springs this week, 7 hours fishing on the course lake with expert tuition for my 2 lads and nephew. Superb experience - highly recommended.
Lovely intimate fishery with night fishing camping so great for the whole family the chance of the fish of a lifetime,James the owner is very helpful.
