Hi Folks. I am a Director and Co owner of Rafferty Roof Trusses. I would just like state that Rafferty Roof Trusses has no connections to Northern Truss Joist and the information on this Google page is incorrect. We did purchase the assets of this company when it went out of business. We have a production facility at Elland, Halifax and are a very professional and competent company that has been trading successfully for 20years. We value all customers equally

Please avoid and do not use. They are a bunch of money scamming cowboys who over promise and don't deliver on their promises. The director is the same who is also the biggest con artist from them all. They promised that my delivery would be made within 10 days if I put a order in that day. I was manipulated into placing a order with them. It took them 4 weeks to deliver my roof and even then they didn't deliver the full roof as agreed. Made several calls and kept getting fobbed off. Eventually I bought the rest of the roof from another provider and requested for a refund. They didn't provide a full refund for the remainder of the roof rather what it would cost them to buy the material. The refund process took further 4 weeks. I had to plead for the refund and make several phone calls and visits to their site. My advice is - DO NOT USE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

If you only take notice of one internet review in your life, make it this one. Thankfully I have never before had the misfortune of dealing with a company so completely disinterested in either doing the job right or rectifying the problems afterwards. How they stay in business I do not know. Luckily my local builder's merchant supplied my trusses so I'm hoping at least they will refund my money. Trusses were measured and manufactured incorrectly, sadly this only came to light with three tradesmen and a crane hired for the day. Then followed many, many unfulfilled delivery dates for a second set of trusses, culminating in just plain ignorance and not bothering to return calls or emails. I don't leave reviews generally as I rarely have time but I've made an exeption here. If I treated my customers like this, I'd be out of business in weeks. So, if you need trusses, PLEASE go elsewhere. Anywhere, but not here.
