I finally went after walking past many a time and tried Ethiopian food for the first time with my house mate and loved it. It’s always interesting to try something new and this time was very rewarding, the guy was very nice too. He let me try a glass of their honey brew wine

Unpretentious restaurant and decor with amazing Ethiopian food and the Honey wine was simply divine. Recommended!

Truly delicious food. Subtle, delicate spices make every dish interesting. Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. Ordered for delivery via a well known delivery service. Can’t wait to eat here properly when things reopen.

Great food, fair piece. Lucky I went with my Ethiopian friend for guidance because the guy serving us was nice but disinterested. Had his head down behind the counter on his phone the entire time.

The food was incredible! Delicious spices and variety of flavours. Staff dealing with public were not the happiest but maybe because there was a drunk guy there creating a lot of noise and not respecting anyone's space. I will definitely be visiting again with more family and friends. My friend and I ordered the vegan platter to share, very filling! Great value for money. I really hope this restaurant gets bigger. We are over populated with Italian places, shame for our only Ethiopian restaurant in Brighton to be in such a small space. Here's wishing Abyssinia a blessing of expansion. :) x
