The view from this pier is exceptional. You can take a peaceful walk on the 1/2 km quay and see lots of fishermen and sea scenery. By the end of it you will reach to an observation point where a circle area is ending up the promenade zone of the quay. I really enjoyed the walk there and the sunsets are gorgeous.

A great place if you love your fishing, there's plenty to catch all year round, with at least 35 different species on offer, it only takes a bit of research and trial and error and you'll be amongst a fish or two, it can be extremely busy during the summer but if you time it right and are willing to get on with other angler's there's plenty of room for everyone, at time of this post wall ticket prices are 4 for 1 rod or 5 for 2.

Beautiful place to visit with lots of great restaurants and bars. The West Quay is the best Wetherspoons in the UK in my opinion. There are lots of boat trips from here. I can highly recommend the mackerel fishing. For just 35 you can go out on the boat for about 90-120 minutes. They provide all the fishing gear and will even gut and prepare your catch for you! And you get to keep what you catch!

The blocks of flats, newly built, have ruined the view over cliffs from the Brighton pier. Should've never been allowed. Ugly too.
