Sunday Roast in secluded beach huts is a lovely idea! Delicious food and beautiful setting. In terms of COVID, it felt very safe in that all staff (except 1 guy who brought us drinks) wore masks consistently and the other guests are totally separated from your table with a solid screen. Would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the waiter carrying open drinks and not wearing any face covering!

Absolutely a must-see on your Brighton pub crawl! Perfectly placed near the end of West Street directly down from Brighton Station. Plenty of seating and bench seating (ideal for social distancing) The service is also absolutely incredible, with regular and swift table service.

Lovely food, nice surroundings on a stunning afternoon and prices not too bad. However, the woman who owns the pump house or at least works there, should look after her dog better because we had the pleasure of being pestered the whole time we were eating, we go out not to be pestered by animals or children! There was even a note around its collar to say not to feed it, really off putting and the staff, as nice as they were (with plenty of them) didn't seem to care there was a dog annoying customers, maybe they don't get many complaints but I want to eat my dinner, listening to music not having a dog sniffing around my feet the whole time.

Really nice, vibe with live busking on everyday the sun is out. The staff are all really nice and welcoming, and they work so hard. Beer selection is OK and average prices you pay in Brighton. One of my favourite places in Brighton highly recommended

We visited for lunch lovely sunny day sat outside food was good staff excellent and had a singer on as well
