This was my friends first experience with the PDSA and all the staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. The vet took so much time to look at her cat, Sebbie, and she felt very confident with their knowledge and expertise. Very caring and very empathic. I gave a donation directly to the hospital.

Been a year now they won't see any animals except for emergency. Thousands of other vets are seeing pets and owner waits in the car. It shouldn''t be a problem as animals are not part of the 'COVID emergency crisis'. Seems like an easy cost-cutting service for them and too convenient for them to turn away lots of people! Vets are an essential service not just for emergencies. Start taking appointments. This is discriminating for those who can't afford to pay out of their pocket for the thousands of other vets that are seeing pets but are charging a lot of money. What are people who are on a low-income to do if they rely on PDSA for their pet care?

Do not take your rabbits here! Our bunny Aspen died in their care after they took him in and after having him hospitalised for 3 days did they tell us (an hour before his passing) that they weren't experienced with rabbits and he should be transferred elsewhere. They could have told us this from the get go, rather than caring more about their wallets, they could have been actual vets who cared about ALL animals and immediately have let us know. It was really late at night and this was the only 24hr service available at the time, we we're naive, I'll admit that, but, they could have at least told us to go else where the next morning as they lacked bunny experience. We are now a family member short, but hey, they got the money they wanted, right?

22ndaug20 Phone consultation due to covid 19 meds prescribed seem to be working for my 16yr old border terrier. As always a superb service from the pdsa.
