Initially, we were very excited to have booked through Gigz, they seemed professional and accommodating. Then there were issues with the online site and a number of non-answered calls. Finally, 5 days before our wedding, we were informed that what we thought we had agreed with the company was not in fact what they thought they were going to provide and we had to pay an additional 150 or be left in the lurch! This 'misunderstanding' should have been picked up way before then: we had filled out our 'wish list' and details weeks and weeks beforehand on their online site. Why did no one contact us then to say 'we think there's been a misunderstanding'? It turned out that the only stress we experienced during our wedding planning, was from Gigz. The calls I received were unpleasant and if we hadn't already had to pay a large amount of money (which wouldn't have been refunded at only 5 days before), we would have cancelled. The act was fantastic on the day, but we shall never book through Gigz Management again, and I would not recommend them. If you do book with them, be sure you know EXACTLY what is agreed. Write everything down and get both parties to sign. That was our error and we paid (literally) for it. Unnecessary upset and stress.
