PLEASE READ THE MOST RECENT REVIEWS BEFORE GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! It is one of the WORST Indian restaurants EVER! Hygiene was simply poor, especially with COVID - 19. The menus were dirty and the staff wore no masks. We ordered poppadoms which we were 1.85 a piece! They came with two tiny containers quarter full with chutney and condiments, instead of 4 which is the usual, for 5 people. We had to repeatedly ask for more chutneys. The mint yoghurt was watery and was completely tasteless. The curries we ordered in the main course were warm instead of hot and small in quantity, barely enough for 1 person, let alone 5! The restaurant is very overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food and the kind of service provided. When we expressed our concerns to the manager, he argued back saying and I quote 'we have more white customers and therefore we have smaller portions' which was simply outrageous! He would not listen to our complaints and instead proceeded to make excuses for their poor service. Absolute waste of money and time!

It's an up market Indian restaurant that is quite big, located on the Bristol city centre. It does not open late because the owners prefer a sober customer. Staff are polite and friendly. Two curries and rice with a nan is nearly 35 which is probably the most we have ever paid for a curry anywhere. It's a very nice place which the owners should be very proud of, but we are not sure we would return.
Best Indian restaurant in Bristol. I've been several times and every dish I've tried is absolutely lovely. 100% recommended.
First, I am so disappointed with the poor quality of the food and the terrible service. Since we enter the restaurant there was no customer service at all. Second, they gave us dirty menus which made me feel uncomfortable since Covid-19 is still around. Third, we ordered poppadoms as a starter and we only received two small quantities of chutney which is INSANE since it was served for five people. I had to ask again and again for more quantity. Fourth, the food was warm as if heated up in microwave and one of my dishes was sour, I reordered the dish and they give me the same sour dish which is not meant to taste like that. The waiter did not apologise for the dirty menu, and at the end gave me the wrong bill. Fifth, I went to the women's toilet and it was in a horrible state, not CLEAN at all. Sixth, when I tried to talk to the manager of the restaurant, he argued back to me. This restaurant was so expensive and not worth the money although I am Spanish, I know the difference between bad and good Indian food as I love it and this was poor quality food. I should have read the reviews of this restaurant before going to it.
very disappointing. I ordered a meal last night for my wife and my wedding anniversary. the delivery was sent within five minutes so obviously was not freshly prepared food and clearly microwaved. Soggy naan bread, soggy dosa, soggy deep fried chilli. A 16 prawn curry contained only 4 prawns and the curry was a wet soup. nothing in the order was made to satisfaction. i ate in the restaurant a few years ago and thought the quality was great, so perhaps they just treat takeaways like this? if I was served this in the restaurant i would leave without paying. this is such a shame, it ruined our special occasion, and i wont be eating from this restaurant again
