I have been going here since I moved to the area nearly 10 years ago. I had a lovely dentist but when he left he was replaced with a different dentist. He would criticise me and tell me off (a grown woman) for ‘not looking after my teeth’ when I was doing everything I could. I told the practice I was having problems with him and they continued to set appointments up with him. I stopped going and moved and started at a different dentist. I have now moved back to the area and called about transferring back and was informed that the dentist I used to have had left. Great! And they would contact me about transferring back to them. I waited 6 months and wasn’t contacted, I left it so long due to COVID and thought that new clients wouldn’t be a priority at the moment. I’ve recently been having problems with my teeth and phoned today to enquire about when I can come in and was informed that I’m no longer allowed at the winterbourne branch because I ‘didn’t turn up to my appointments’ (when I was a teenager) due to the dentist and I having problems, that they knew about, may I add. I’m registering with a different company that take the client seriously when they say they don’t like the way they’re being treated by the dentist!

They know what they are doing and they are well organised. Parking can be a bit tough but there are plenty of spaces on a nearby street. It's often better to bear the short walk from there rather than to park on the backs main road in front of the building.
After reading some of the previous reviews I felt that I must write the following. I have been a patient at this practise for over 50 years, long before it became Apple. I and my family have had many dentists over that period of time and have never had a bad experience. Since Apple took over the practise my wife and I have had several different dentists, have met numerous nurses and reception staff, all who have been friendly, polite and proficient. As patients we have always received excellent services as have my extended family, my wife and I have also recommended neighbours and friends to the practise who have also been very pleased with the service and treatment they have received. We are only too happy to recommend this practise
In 2007-13 the dentist in charge of this practice was my daughter's dentist. He criticised her alot so we changed to another dentist there. His sick attitude has left my daughter traumatised and paranoid about her teeth. They need to review their ethics.
Horrific dentist. Reception staff and dentist were rude and one dentist performed treatment for which I had not given consent. In addition treatment did not resolve the issue (which was seen only on xray and not causing symptoms) and I now risk losing the tooth. Needless to say I left them after a complaint you the ombudsmen.
