The Cathedral is stunning from outside and inside. Free entry but you can give donations if you like. Very peaceful inside. Outside there are some green spots where you can sit to chill or eat your lunch. Not a crowded place.

Beautiful, absolutely stunning. Why you wouldn’t visit is not understood, it’s an amazing building, steeped in history and gorgeous; without a charge, except for a small optional donation. My only regret is that during my visit, there was no evensong or services which is always my favourite thing. Alas, I shall visit another time and be able to fully take in the full experience.
The goods - Beautiful location, right in the middle of the city - Easily accessible and connected with bus or private vehicle - The architecture is awe inspiring, I went there multiple time just for the building - Free entry unless there's a paid group tour Improvement points None actually Advice - Go there in the noon if you want to see the cathedral for yourself. But do check the timings and days it is open.
Beautiful cathedral in Bristol. There is an area of green opposite where you can have lunch and admire the cathedral. On a busy day though there are many people about and sitting on the green, especially students, which can be a COVID risk (if you are cautionary about that) There are benches also.
An oasis of calm. Even if you're not a believer, this place is worth visiting for the architecture alone. Alternatively you may be not be devout, but still worth visiting. Please help support the cathedral as these places ain't cheap to run. There are contactless payment points conveniently located by the entrance and exit. Any donation gratefully received.
