Gavin has been amazing with my son Marley, my son literally LOVES his drumming lessons. I shopped around a lot whilst looking for a drum teacher for him, Gavin’s reply to my email was so informative, he offered a free trial lesson (to see if he’d like it) and offered me stacks of advice on which books and which kit to buy him, nothing was ever too much trouble. He’s on time every lesson and really encourages my son, he leaves his lesson beaming with confidence. If your looking for a drumming teacher then I can highly recommend Gavin, I really feel that Gavin wants my son to succeed in his new hobby, although he teaches lots of people he makes my son feel like he’s his only student! Thank you Gavin.
When I started drum lessons with Gavin I had never sat at a drum kit before. 5 months on and I can now read music notation, have mastered some good techniques and feel so much more confident about playing a new instrument. Gavin is really patient and always tailors the lesson to what I really need to perfect. Each lesson I feel I'm making more and more progress. I really look forward to each lesson!

Gavin is patient and supportive, coaching me towards my grade exams and giving taylored instruction & feedback to improve my technique and performance but also exploring techniques and creative exercises outside of the grading which has really built confidence behind the kit.
