We where told by our insurance broker & it was stated on our insurance policy that we had legal cover on our business we felt reassured. When we we had an issue with our commercial landlord over rent we thought we would be able to get some legal advice via our comprehensive policy. How wrong we where. DAS told us that we where not covered for lease disputes with landlords. What a bunch of dishonest crooks. Another insurance company wriggling out & resorting to the small print. If you see DAS are involved avoid like the plague. Just have a look at Trust Pilot review site DAS have one of the lowest ratings on the site out of all the companies on there 94% 1* reviews & a lot of people saying 1* is even to generous. DAS dishonest.

I logged a complaint and never received a complaint reference number and didnt have my complaint looked into. They loose your personal details. Then want you to send them again. There is a lady there called Anita and her name is on emails and she doesn't have a clue what she's sent. If you have a choice dont deal with them. Regards Caroline
I expect a call back in 5 working days, especially after writing to customer complaints. Nothing at all. Basically, you aren't insured for legal expenses cover as it isn't fit for purpose so i will ask for it to be refunded or use someone else when i choose my insurance.
21 minutes on hold had to hang up. I have read other's experience/reviews not looking forward to future corrispondence if I ever get to make inital contact.
Nasty company with their customer service
I have full commercial cover through nfumutual that includes contract dispute , legal protection, debt recovery and property protection , The NFU does not help you make your claim and DAS give you the run around denying any liability for any of these . It is worse than having no cover as it makes it very difficult getting cover anywhere else.
Be very aware about this insurance. Please visit 'DAS Law' reviews who they sub the legal work to. A conflict of interest maybe?
A Case that should taken 6 months (max) has taken 3 and a half years... and still waiting! Little communication, poor professional advice, all staff seem like lost puppies and are as organised as a tramps suitcase. Once the settlement is disclosed ill compare where it sits in national statastics for time and compensation and let you all know.
