A lovely place for a wedding reception. The surrounding countryside is perfect to get out and have a stroll on the common. Excellent facilities with large hall, bar and kitchen area and two upstairs rooms one also with a small kitchen area to make tea/coffee etc. It may get rather sultry though on a hot summers day without much air movement through the hall and no opening windows upstairs. Having said that a great budget venue for a personal and intimate event.

Great place to host a party though was greatly dissappointed to lose our deposit of 150 which the gentleman inspected.and was.happy we left in good condition only to turn.around and say actually there were beer.bottles left on.the grass area who could have identified bottles in deep.green grass at night?they could have simply rung as we.lived close by to pick up the bottles,felt cheated

Booked out the hall for my Gran's 90th! Beautiful hall, large enough to accommodate between 50 and 100 guests milling about. Kitchen was nice and large.
