I’ve been having lessons with Nikolai for just under 3 months now and I’m really enjoying them. Nikolai is patient, considerate and very knowledgeable. I’m a beginner and feel like I’ve made really good progress in quite a short space of time! He’s also good at explaining things in ways that I can understand better. I would definitely recommend him!

Nikolai has been teaching me for a couple of years and the progress I have made under his tuition is way way beyond what I ever expected to achieve. Nikolai has a relaxed informal style. Passionate about music, he is incredibly patient and really understands the challenges faced by the student and provides the right encouragement, guidance and technique. Lessons are enjoyable and focus around the student and what they want to achieve, areas they are struggling with and also delving into the psychology that impacts every pianist (e.g. performance anxiety, eliminating/accepting mistakes, practice versus playing), making them a rich and rewarding weekly experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Nikolai to progress you on your wonderful journey.

Never had so much enjoyment whilst learning the piano, he is a great teacher, and over the 3 or so years that I have been learning with him I have had some of the funniest moments. He is always ready to change the lesson up a little to keep you motivated. Highly recommended.

Nikolai is a great piano teacher. He is very skilled with the piano, but also very patient and makes piano lessons enjoyable. You will feel at ease around him and if you are taking your piano learning seriously there is no way you won’t see an accelerated progress having him as a teacher. Highly recommend him.
