I shop in this store every second day due to the convenience of its location. I generally find the staff have a terrible attitude towards customers and especially during covid, as they march around like ‘little hitlers’ It is a case of staff first, customers second. We are made to feel like we should be grateful we are even allowed to shop in this store. The staff especially at the self service always are very rarely nearby and glare at you if they think you are standing too near them. They seem to have forgotten that the only reason they have a job is because customers still shop there. The minute we stop, the store will close. The final straw was when I had a staff member from behind the fresh food section yell at me from across the store because she felt my mask wasn’t high enough over my nose. Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards a customer. I will not return to this store and neither will my immediate family. As soon as a Lidl’s opens in this area, this Waitrose will undoubtedly close, and it will not be a moment too soon.
