In summary, it was ok but did not meet our expectations. As with the other reviews, It seems the service is quite hit and miss. The veggie platter starter was really good so I have included a photo of that. Some feedback to improve things next time: - Either provide tap water on every table or clear the extra empty glasses; - Mark what is vegetarian on the menu (because it's a nuisance to have to ask); - Offer the bill when clearing the table when desserts are declined rather than expecting the table to call you over again later; - Check (and clean) the toilets often; - Put more than one piece of preserved lemon in the asparagus and preserved lemon risotto :)

First time visiting this place was during the eat out to help out scheme and I thought I’d take that opportunity to try somewhere new. And WOW this place is amazing. The restaurant it’s self is beautiful and the food was even more so! I decided to try the carbonara pizza and it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. And the Mango beer was so refreshing. I will be back again and again!

Went here with friends. Loved the decor, dining experience and food. We enjoyed the Pizzas especially the Chilli one. My friend said he loved the beer that they brewed, especially the Mango ale. We found it relatively easy to park close by but I think it might be difficult in peak times. Might we work a visit when going out to the Colston Hall or the Hippodrome which are a short walk down Christmas steps which is just next door.

Love this place but parking impossible after bike lanes have taken all road side parking. Local businesses will likely go out of business as a result. Crazy!

We were waiting outside at the beer garden to get a drink for 10 minutes on a not busy day with no service at all. There were no signs indicating that there was a table service so we had to walk in to order our drinks and were told by three different staff members quite aggressively that we weren’t supposed to do that. Fair enough, but due to the lack of signs we weren’t informed. We ordered our drinks the right way and had to wait another 20 minutes with no service. We ended up leaving with zero drinks after 30 minutes. Great experience.

So good to be able to return for some fresh ale and delicious pizza. All precautions observed, but still a delightful experience. Thanks to all the staff.
