I contacted Steve who works for Britain's Limited using the local checkatrade leaflet (bromley area). He listened patiently to my description of the problem which turned out to be caused by... (dangerous electrical wiring incorrectly installed, shorting fuse on main fuse box, which in turn was being caused by a water leaking from the condensing part of my combi boiler, where my kitchen fitters removed the pipe connecting the boiler to the waste).. In short a disaster. Steve (and colleague) arrived promptly identified the problem, fixed the problem, explaining what they were doing at each step. The good thing about Steve is he's a qualified electrician and plumber which was what I needed. Not only did they provide excellent service, they cleaned up all the mess and re-installed various built-in appliances and kitchen units that had to be removed to access/resolve the issue. I highly recommend this company, particularly Steve and will be keeping their number for future work.
So l needed to have a washing machine replaced l ordered the machine and l rang the company to have it installed because it is integrated. I was quoted 80 and that they would take the old one away. Others had quoted me 65 but because they install bathrooms and kitchens l decided to go for them. I was told they would come Monday 26 th Oct but they didn't turn up l got a call in the evening to tell me that they would come first thing 9:30am the following day. No body turned up l rang several times the chap did show at about 11am he replaced the washing machine but could not fit the door because the hinges were in a different place. I was told he would take the door away to fill and drill new holes for the hinges. Door brought today to fit to the machine not filled just new holes drilled in the overlapping holes. The door wobbles when opened. I just got a call to make payment and they just asked me to pay 200. What a rip off. Needless to say l said l was not going to pay 200 since l was quoted 80 the chap then came back with it was 80 per hour . Be careful since this was not quoted at the time.
Britain’s have installed new boilers, bathrooms, plumbing and various electrical requirements throughout several properties for me over the last 10 years; the last job being a few weeks ago. I have always been impressed with their high standard of work, polite, helpful engineers and they are excellent value for money. Nothing is too much trouble and they are a trustworthy, professional company. They have also come out on emergency call outs in my hour of need and are available 24 hours a day. Highly recommended, they will not disappoint.
Britain’s recently installed a new boiler for me which I am really pleased with. Also they attended an emergency call out last month when I had a leak and repaired my toilet. They carried out a full electrical re-wire 8 months ago as well. Their work is of a very high standard, clean, tidy, professional and always very happy with their prices too. I am looking to replace my bathroom in a few months and will definitely use Britain’s. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Having used Britains Limited on numerous occasions, the most recent was the installation of a new boiler, I would highly recommend them. They left my home clean and tidy and was very efficient. Their Manager who I spoke to was very courteous kept me at ease and up to date with the job in hand all the way through. Would definitely use again.
Very attentive service the engineer turned up on time and was clean and tidy and completed my job in a very good time would highly recommend
