My mum passed away in Brookdale a few days ago, peacefully and amazingly well looked after by the staff. These are very special people; kind, hard working and knowledgable. No one could have made her last days more bearable than they did, nor helped our family more during a sad and difficult time. Thank you.

Can not thank this care home enough for the fantastic care my mum recived here the rooms are lovely spotless the food is amazing but most of all the staff are fantastic treat residents with so much care and dignity nothing is ever to much for them would recommend this care home to anyone can not fault it

I give Brookdale 5 stars. I am delighted with the care and attention my mum receives from all the carers. They have singers, groups, mindful/stimulating moments all sorts of entertainment on throughout the week to keep her attention it's just fabulous for mum because she love's to sing and dance. Mum has been at Brookdale nearly twelve months now I've called at all different times of the day and night and mum has been happy and content. All the care team give you their full attention if you ask them for something and an up date on mum's behaviour throughout the day (which helps me a lot ) as mum only got diagnosed in February this year and I'm still finding it difficult coming to terms with it all, but with the help and support Brookdale have given both me and my mum i can't thank them all enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brookdale as a safe and secure place for your loved one because I spent a lot of time and tears before I found it. Save yourself the time if your looking and give them a call. Forever greatful Jayne x

The EMD unit is modern, light, airy a refreshing change from some of the other more clinical setting I had seen, the staff are friendly and more than happy to help in anyway they can, they have a hair salon with a dementia trained hairdresser, there is also a garden room with a full bloom blossom tree where the residents can sit and relax or enjoy reminiscent afternoon, the activity staff are always happy to take on bored any ideas that family member may have that will help with loved ones getting more involved in their day to day activities Brookdale is a wonderful place,

It's a positive atomasphere were the family feel is amazing all staff are willing and friendly and the support you get is worth more than money, I would recommend anyone to visit.
