We bought some of the kiln dried canadian boards from Wendy and Wayne - and we couldn't be happier. The wood is absolutely stunning, it elevates our house to another level, and all the tradespeople have been absolutely bowled over by it. Wendy is also a delight to deal with: she is warm, knowledgable, and really cares about her product. Delivery was prompt and communication was excellent throughout. Having spent far too long looking at engineered and reclaimed wooden floors online, it was a real pleasure to come across Wendy and Wayne's beautifully presented website and see exactly what we were looking for. A trip (pre lockdown) confirmed we had found the right place. The choice and quality of their boards is fantastic, and so well displayed we chose a different one that we had liked on the website. Needing over 125 square yards for our converted chapel, Wendy said they would handpick all the boards so we would get the best possible look. Delivery was at our convenience so we don't have to keep them too long before installation. The wood looks beautiful and our installer is impressed by the way they are finished - planed to a uniform depth, sanded and ready to go down. Can't wait to see them down now, we believe they will really help to make our home look the best it can. We wholeheartedly recommend both the product and the service we received. It’s the 2nd time I’ve bought reclaimed floorboards from Wendy and Wayne. Pitch pine and Canadian Pine both floors look gorgeous. Used kiln dried Canadian floorboards.Floor looks absolutely amazing in old Georgian farmhouse. Wendy and Wayne great to deal with. Remember you will need to order 10-15% extra for off cuts etc. Used Osmo Polyx oil 3032 clear satin to seal which revealed the fabulous quality of the wood they sell.
