A smooth sailing experience and one that I cannot fault. I explained my water sports experience and what I was looking for with which they were quick in providing me with the best option. Their team were wonderful on the phone and at no point did I feel judged for my lack of knowledge in the field. With a wide array of colours and choices from paddle boards to kayaks there is something for everyone. Lastly, FREE delivery on something as big as a kayak, simply amazing!

I purchased a Bluewave Crest fishing Kayak in July 2019. The Kayak is Fantastic and the service I received from Bluewave was first class. I ordered a kayak at 2pm on a Thursday and it arrived at my front door at 10am on the Friday. I use it as often as the weather permits me to and I love it. It is extremely stable in the water and also lighter than other kayaks to carry to and from the water. 10/10 highly recommended purchase

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Would leave minus stars if I could. They had my money for a month for a preorder kayak but I didn't end up with a kayak. When it was due to arrive I heard nothing from them so had to chase it up. I was falsely told that it was in and would be with me by the end of the day or the end of the next day at the very latest. So I stayed home eagerly waiting for the delivery, which never came. I again had to ring only to be told that it actually hadn't come in at all. So I could either get a refund for what I had paid (the price of the kayak had gone up by 114 meantime on the website.... funny that), be sent a different colour one or just wait for another month to see if it came in then. I opted for the different colour one which I was promised would be sent next day delivery and personally supervised by the lady I had spoken to. It didn't arrive. So more phone calls and inconvenience only to be told they had sold the kayak to someone else (who funny enough had paid the higher price) so I couldn't have one. I asked for a refund as all trust I had was shattered. I was promised that I would receive the refund immediately and have an email confirming that, but it didn't happen, so 3 hours later I ended up having to contact the ecommerce manager Alex Slater (who has interestingly left a 5 star review on here, as has Matt Fawcus who is a director of the company) who sorted the refund but didn't offer any further compensation for all my inconvenience, disappointment, phone calls, days lost staying in waiting for deliveries or now having to source a kayak elsewhere. I will NEVER deal with Bluewave or any other FW3 group companies ever again. Disgraceful service which is not excused by the COVID-19 situation of people working from home or increased demand for products. No customer should ever be treated so badly and put through this amount of stress.
