I went to look at a car here that I was interested in. I was intending on getting it on finance, and the sales rep told me I could leave a deposit and it would be refundable if things didn't work out and I could walk away. The finance group got in touch with me, and I wasn't happy with the deal, so I decided to get a bank loan instead. I rang the dealer to say I was going to buy the car outright and he asked if I wanted to leave a deposit. I said yes sure, and paid the deposit over the phone. I haven't signed anything, and it was a verbal contract. The next day I decided I didn't want the car anymore, it was an 04 VW Polo and he was asking for 2375 which I just didn't think was worth paying for, so when I called to cancel, he was pretty annoyed about it and then just said, "and you know the deposit is non-refundable", to which I questioned and he said that it was only refundable if I was seeking finance and couldn't get the finance. There was never any mention that this was exclusive to this, and by mentioning that I was buying the car in full this would void this. He is refusing to pay it back and is basically telling me to "try" and get it back. My bank aren't helping because they say that, because I 'changed my mind', it doesn't really work with their policies. This isn't covering the fact that I was lied to and missold the deposit. So I am now 100 down and they are now selling the car for way less than the original asking price AND the price they tried to haggle me down to! They are thieves and I would never go there again and I suggest you don't.

Wanted to buy a car from Diamond car sales paid over 200 for an AA inspection and no one was available when the AA arrived waste of time and money.

They sold me a faulty car that I've had to send back to them 4 times with the same problem! They haven't fixed it, they must have just turned it off on the diagnostic to save themselves money because we have had the car since March and it's been in 4 times They have kept it for 3 weeks at one time causing a inconvenience. We said we would swap the car but there are no cars suitable, the cars on display had flat tyres, chipped peeling paint and worn interior. Reported to trading standards as we are liable under Consumer right act 2015 to get a full refund within 6 months of having the vechicle They signed for the trading standard letter but did not reply to it, have ignored all calls. Can't seem to get hold of the manager to sort the issue. Having to go through small claims court process.

Don't you want to sell cars? I called you at 10 am, I told you I wanted to view the red mini so I drove over to your Chasetown office. No one there, I called the number in your office window after the pig ignorant people in the window looked at me like I'd gone mad, you answered, I said I was waiting to view the car, I was standing by the car, took a photo of me standing next to the car, you said you were on the way, I waited 15 mins and no one showed up, I drove to Cannock to view another car, I came back to your showroom at 12pm and after waiting another 10 mins, you turned your phone off and now you can't be contacted. If I ran my business like you do I'd be on the dole in a month. Took my cash elsewhere. You can not sell cars if you're not there to greet the customer. Hope you learn from this and to be honest, the bad reviews about this company spooked me anyway. I tried your Brownhills branch and guess what, yep, locked up and no one there. I bet Fitch Autos are fed up of people asking for you.

Cars advertised on eBay have already been sold. Don't bother to end them or apologise when you waste your time!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON MEN! Overpriced faulty cars! They just ignore you or fob you off if you try complain or liase to resolve the situation. I lost a lot of money and had a very bad experience, remarkably similar to many of the other bad reviews! Avoid!
