I have been going to The Workout for nearly two years and cannot fault the staff. They are extremely friendly, helpful and will not hesitate to aide your ongoing fitness journey. I also see one of the Personnel Trainers, who again is just brilliant. The gym has everything that I need in regards to training. I not once have felt intimated, which can be the case in some. I would have no hesitation in recommending this gym. Thanks guys.

Staff friendly always say hello when arriving the only downside is showers needed updating,plus ceiling tiles upstairs need fixing but apart from that very happy.
I have been a member of Workout for 3 years, its a medium sized, friendly well equipped gym run by friendly staff and coaches. Yes the showers are a bit tired but the still work and are hot !!, the people and equipment make up for this minor point. The gym welcomes all members, from the first timer's starting out on the long fight to fitness to the muscle builders in the weights section !! Anyway go along and give it a try you won't regret it !!
Good for old school. Cheap. If equipment breaks down it takes months until it fixed and you can use it. Scary showers with holes on the ceiling and now soap. Sauna where your feet freezes. Half of staff unqualified and never give a free advise or show to a first timer how to use equipment and to hurt your self. But cheap
been going to the workout for over a year now ... Friendly staff and good variety of classes make the gym very enjoyable! For somebody totally new to exercise and weights the classes have been really helpful ..
Love this club. It's got such variety of equipment which meant me and my partner were able to train in the same club doing our different routines.

Please read the small print when joining the 12.99 contract its a 3 year deal and cost me 70 to cancel after 1 year, even though i was told that i would be able to cancel the contract if my work hours or childcare changed, the member of staff who signed me up no longer works there so it was "my word against his". The gym is decent enough has all the right equipment some what dated , it can take them to a couple of months to carry out maintenance work and has multiple leaks in the upstairs ceiling. The 12.99 offer attracts students and o.a.p's who take there sweet time working out n hogging equipment. Dont cancel your direct debit first or you will be hit by late payment fees, emails will be sent to you well after the deadline date. Staff are decent when they are not painting and decorating. I would recommend finding a non contract gym in burton. A few are opening soon. The gym. Gym unity. Gym for less.
