Had an ACL & Meniscus reconstruction in November 2020, which has been followed up by Altius & Physio, Sam. Currently 20-25% through recovery but he has been fantastic so far, and further ahead than I thought I would be/should be. Very knowledgeable, and most importantly feel like you're getting something out of each session. Further to this, Francine is warm & welcoming even in these times (masks, social distance & ppe etc). Happy to recommend this clinic & Sam in particular.

I’ve been struggling with my ankle for 3 months and had previously seen a different physio without much progress. Altius is close to me and easy to park so thought I’d give it a try. So happy I did...Sam Hatton was very professional and the results were incredible. Immediate improvement after my first session. Would highly recommend.
I’ve been suffering with thumb joint pain for a number of years and Alan was recommended to me by my brother. Alan examined my hands and went through my history . He performed acupuncture on both thumbs which I immediately notice an improvement . Alan also referred me to a hand surgeon who saw me the very next day ! A week after that visit I had steroid infections in both thumbs ! However my problem is so severe ( stage 4 arthritis ) I will need surgery . I can’t thank Alan enough for his quick assessment and referral .
Cant recommend Altius enough! I've been seeing with Doug and Colin for knee arthritis and associated issues. Doug has been amazing throughout in diagnosing, explaining and supporting me to find the correct treatment and surgery (in my case). Im now working with Doug and Colin to rehab after my surgery. As well as offering knowledge, expertise and treatment, both Doug and Colin have been a great support on understanding the impact of injury on mental health and emotions.They just 'get it'!This has made a big difference for me and helped a lot. ALtius was recommended to me by both BUPA and a private surgeons as offering first class and upto date rehab physio. So glad I found them! Thanks guys!
Altius Healthcare and Doug Jones had been recommended to me after I had torn my patellar tendon. I had initially spent 6 weeks with a generalist physio in Manchester, but due to a lack of progress with my rehab I felt I needed to see a knee / sports specialist. Doug made an immediate difference with both the treatment he provided, and with the detailed and progressive training programme I received. Each session has included shockwave therapy, muscle massage, graston therapy and acupuncture, and the training programme is constantly monitored and adjusted to ensure the right amount of training is applied at the right times. Its clear that Doug and his team have a genuine interest and passion in the treatment and service they provide, I would highly recommend them for any physio related requirement.
