Lovely staff doing a fantastic job taking care of a LOT of lovely dogs as well as other animals. Thank God for these good people. Little bookshop too where my mum found some good books and it helps one of the purest good causes going!

Came here to view two cats that we'd seen on their website. We ended up looking at all of the cats inside and out until we found the two that we were looking to adopt. The buildings are great and it's a very professional environment and the cats that are here all look happy. The staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had and let us stay in the room with the cats to get used to them and see their personalities.

Our family adopted an Old Woof called Bob. He was already 11 years old when he became part of our family. He lived to over 17 years old. It was lovely to give him a home. Sarah from Bleakholt was absolutely amazing. Supportive, knowledgeable, understanding, and caring. We always regarded her as Bob's ex-mum, because of how much she liked to have updates, photos and visits from Bob. He is very sadly missed. Thank you Bleakholt.

Unfortunately the adoption process is not clear, I applied to adopt a dog, never had feedback or contact, the person replying to emails had no idea what was happening with the adoption, they told me the dog had to be advertised on the website for 7 days and all applications would be reviewed but I never had any chance, I doubt it my application was even looked at. Extremely disappointing as I thought Bleakholt was a bit better. I am a great supporter of adopting animals BUT this has to be done in a fair and open way and this was not fair or open.

Love taking my grandchildren here. The scenery is beautiful and we just love petting the animals. Can even say that my own dog was a Bleakholt rescue.
