Today Missy my 12 year old Labrador swam for the very first time. She likes water but had a bad experience as a puppy where she sank in a lodge and after we got her out she would only walk in water. If it got too deep she panicked. Just look how she took to swimming today. Luke Morgan-Millington you were amazing and why she was so calm. I found it quite emotional to see her swim for the first time. I don’t think as dog owners we realise how important it is to teach our dogs basic swimming. Totally recommend this, my only regret is i didn’t do this sooner. Book it... it is worth every penny and not expensive.

Milo is one of the first lucky doggies to have fit n fun 'swimming lessons' at Doggy Paddle Bury. Luke was amazing with him, going at Milo's pace, which surprised my Mum and I how quickly he took to the water. He has time for cuddles before they start so Milo could be comfortable with Luke, then time to get used to his life jacket which Luke had bought extra small for him as he is so little. It is totally one on one so no other distractions for Milo. I was thrilled with the session and cannot wait for our next one!! Highly recommend for anyone's dog no matter what the feelings towards water! Fantastic!!! *Update* Milo has now finished his 5 sessions, on his last one he was so desperate to get in the building he was crying at every door, once inside, he ran straight up the ramp and jumped into the pool. Swam for 40 mins no life jacket, super confident, so comfortable with Luke, and just had a brilliant time playing in the pool with Luke and his ball not even realising he was training!!! We also showered him each week in the on site facilities afterwards so he was going home chlorine free. I cannot recommend this enough, it is absolutely wonderful and worth every penny!!!
