Lovely small site with friendly owners, who keep the place pristine. Toilet and shower facilities are great. EHU and water by every pitch. Nobody is squashed in, by any means. About 3 miles from Mildenhall itself, which has a Sainsbury's, a Co-Op and everything you could need for your stay. Even a chippy or two. Many lovely examples of Suffolk architecture. (Still looking for a local place that sells calor gas, other than driving around the deserted industrial estate with no signage).

Really great site. Good size pitches with electric hook ups, and drinking water. For a small site, it certainly has all the facilities you need. Taking in to account the current Covid-19 pandemic, the facilities are spotlessly clean and signage is in place to ensure rules are adhered to by all visiting guests. Lee is a great host, and very friendly. If aircraft is your thing, then best of all is the viewing platform which gives you a fantastic view across RAF Mildenhall and is situated under the approach of runway 11. Will definitely be returning.
Wonderful campsite right off base. We stayed over Labor day, so no flying but it would be the perfect place, at the end of the runway. All the facilities were immaculate. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had our toddler with us and there was plenty of safe space for him to run around. Highly recommended, we will be staying here again.

Raucous noise late into the night, and then just when you get to sleep, it all starts again again at 4AM. If you want a nice peaceful site then this place isn't for you. If, however, you're a bit if a plane geek and love a bit of jetblast at the end of the runway, then you will LOVE this place. Cracking little camp site, suitable for tents, tourers and campers. Very friendly and obviously has plenty of regulars. Right at the end of the runway at RAF Mildenhall with a viewing platform (that offers a full view of the airfield & runway), next to the approach lights, so close to the action you can almost touch the aircraft. Facilities are reasonably basic but clean and functional. Generally well looked after site with friendly and helpful hosts. Will be returning (probably very often).
