What a wonderful place! We’ve had a fabulous week. The lodge is incredibly comfortable, with everything (absolutely everything!!) you could want. Also appreciated the tips on where to walk & cycle, and really enjoyed exploring the area. Elaine and Cameron’s warm welcome (& lovely welcome pack) were the icing on the cake. Hope to come come back soon!

What a magical place surrounded by pure beauty. Our time at Cairnhill was nothing short of spectacular, from the views, to the proximity to the trail heads, to the incredible hospitality of Elaine and Cameron. For anyone looking for a little slice of heaven, tucked amongst some of the most magnificent natural beauty and wild life around, look no further. We feel very lucky to have been able to spend a few days here enjoying the trails, the scenery and the local wild life, including a visit from multiple red tailed squirrels and even a Scottish wildcat. Elaine and Cameron were the perfect addition to our stay, making sure we not only felt at home and safe, but that we also had all the information we needed to make the most out of our time. They are two of the best hosts we have encountered in our travels thus far. They are kind, extremely knowledgeable about the area and things to do, and their attention to detail on the property is something to aspire to. Cairnhill is perfect home away from home for anyone and everyone and we can't wait to return! Huge thanks for such a magical holiday!

We love staying at this beautiful lodge .We have been twice now and it never disappoints.Located near the Kirkton of Glenisla next to a forest and close to a river - the area offers wonderful views, walks and is so peaceful.The lodge itself is well equipped,cosy ,clean and comfortable.There is a nice hotel just a 10 minute walk away which offers decent pub grub and there is a great fish restaurant located in close by Blairgowrie. Elaine and Cameron are the perfect hosts - they even pop down and fill the bird and squirrel feeders every day ! We will definitely be coming back to this lovely spot

Cairnhill is a slice of paradise! Surrounded by stunning scenery, trail heads on the doorstep and plenty of wildlife, including Scottish wildcats visiting the property, Cairnhill is truly a magical experience. Elaine and Cameron are lovely, warm, welcoming and knowledgable about the area, with advice on what walks, bike-rides, day trips and even wild swimming spots... if you’re so inclined! Looking forward to our next visit... maybe in the snow!

The Lodge was an excellent base to relax and enjoy the local area. It had everything we needed and more. Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Although we never got a chance to use the log burner due to the lovely weather. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the very well fed birds, red squirrels as well has a host of other wildlife. Some lovely picturesque walks right from the door as well as many more locally. Cameron and Elaine were excellent hosts and clearly have a lot of pride and passion in what the do. Would highly recommend a stay at Cairnhill Lodge .
