Lovely walk, also has a children's play area and public toilets. Lots of space for family picnics.

Caldicot castle is a lovely place very nice surroundings and well kept. the toilets in the castle grounds could be nicer their clean but old and they could have a shower block for caravans and campers.

Great place to visit. Nice walk around the grounds inside and outside, dog friendly throughout except for inside the building.

Great little castle easy parking with nice grounds and pet friendly. No restrictions on carpark height and with a little shop inside with plenty of seating areas. Lots of grounds outside the castle to walk around. Infrared photography 590nm with post production editing

Great place to walk, picnic and relax. Little play area for under 5years old. Gorgeous castle, FREE to room around in, tea, cake and lovely ice creams. Lots of picnic tables and places to sit. Fields to play and run around in, enough parking spaces! We had a fabulous time!

Lovely castle and grounds. Currently free to park and visit - possibly due to covid. Handy tea shop selling small snacks and drinks and lots of picnic benches within the walls. Great place to stop when traveling between England and Wales. The kids loved running around the castle and then exploring the landscaped grounds with field, forest and lake.

This is a really nice place to spend a few hours as long as the weather is good! Free entry, free parking and toilets. There is a small cafe which serves hot drinks and cakes etc. All of the usual Covid precautions are in place. There is also a pub about 5 minutes walk away if you want something more substantial to eat, or you can walk to the town centre in about 10 minutes.

The castle looked amazing with the lights lighting the way along the foot path. Well placed Christmas trees. (Photos do not do it justice).
