I had a pleasant experience going through the process of renting with Tyler's thanks to Alex and the great work he did getting me set up! Only recommendation I'd have is for Tyler's to set up an online portal to keep track of rent payments and as another format for bringing up issues such as maintenance requests and the like. Otherwise, great agency and no complaints on my end
Excellent experience with Tyler's so far! Prompt, professional, and easy to work with group. Alex and Charley have been great so far with explaining the UK way of life and necessary dealings. They are easy to get ahold of and quick to respond throughout the renting and tenancy process.
After having a nightmare of a year renting with Leaders and dealing with their incredibly unprofessional behaviour and unacceptable living standards, it was such a breath of fresh air viewing our new rental home with Alex, who was friendly, professional, and very considerate of not just the landlord's needs but also ours - the tenants. Our property manager, Charley, has also been very friendly and helpful as well as accessible when we have needed her. The renting process was clear and straightforward from beginning to end and my husband and I are much happier with Tylers. Would definitely recommend!
We rented a property through Tylers for around 3 years. During that time we found them to be very unhelpful. Luckily we had a good relationship with the landlord and went directly through the landlord. When it came to getting our deposit back at the end of the tenancy they were consistent in their un helpfulness. They were rude and unhelpful and didn't release the deposit within the 10 days mandated by the government DPS scheme, claiming they needed written permission from our landlord, but never clarifying with us or the landlord this was the case. We also had to deal with them as part of our house purchase. Again, very little help and we ended up coordinating directly with the seller rather than wait for Tylers. Avoid interactions with Tylers unless you are happy to handle the letting or sale yourself as you will get very little help from them.
