The staff were lovely but the costs were astronomical. I feel they were taking advantage of people, and their animals, in distress. We signed up here because it was geographically close, but one of our cats was kept in for observation (no operation) for two nights and we were charged 1,600. Once she was better, we took her to a vet which wasn't as fancy looking but the charges were so much less - and only a further mile away. We hadn't appreciated that you need to shop around for veterinary care. Hopefully forewarned is forearmed which is why I am leaving this review.

I agree with the negative reviews, after spending 5 minutes trying to find testicals on my female cat. I was sure this wasn't the place for my animals. They will want you to sign a form before they tell you the price, which made me question their process. Very arrogant for 9am.

We brought our kitten in on Saturday night and were pleased to have her looked at and admitted to hospital right away. The medical care really impressed us and we were glad to hear her health improved within couple of days. The price was really high, but that was a lesson for us to ensure we arrange pet insurance for future. I gave 4 stars to this review, as between two receptionists we met, both seem to lack attention to detail. The first one managed to make 3 mistakes when rewriting my name, address, and email address from a hand written form to their online system. I filled in the form in capital letters and was sitting in empty reception while she was typing - she could have checked with me if she was unsure. The second receptionist seemed to be confused about the invoice figures herself. When I pay thousands for a couple of days I would be more comfortable dealing with a person who is able answer my queries. Finally, it would have been great to have more regular updates what's happening, we were worried sick, but couldn't get any update for the first 15 hours the kitten was at the hospital. I understand the staff was really busy, but it just felt awful to us. Despite these administrative problems, I would definitely use this hospital again. Medical care was to high standards and I want to thank the doctors and nurses for brilliant care of our fur baby.

Excellent service at 2200 on a Sunday 1, December. Dog had eaten half a Christmas cake! Admitted for treatment. Everyone from the telephone call onwards was helpful, professional and probably saved our dog's life. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas.

Our dog had pyometra during the lockdown. we had made a virtual appointment for consultation, however after hearing the symptoms they called us and asked us to immediately come in. They advised urgent surgery and they were absolutely fantastic dealing with us and our dog. we could not be more grateful. Our dog is happy and healthy now thanks to their quick response. Thank you Village Vet !
